Thank you so much, and thank you and all of Sol y Canto for such a warm, terrific show. My youngest daughter is from Mexico, and we have been encouraging her to use her language before she forgets completely, but first she must re-learn a lot and get over her reluctance to speak Spanish (she has been here 3 years and is now 10 years old). Your songs are already a big help - she is singing along with all of them. And my oldest daughter, who knows just a little Spanish, is learning a lot more by singing also.

I hope that you will come back to the Philadelphia area soon!

I now live in Ann Arbor, MIchigan & am devoted to teaching my children Spanish. I found your childrens CD and LOVE IT!

My 4 year old daughter and I sing your songs together when we aren't near the CD player. Buen hecho--I can't wait for your next one--please hurry!! :) muchisimas gracias por una cancion que ensena los dias de la semana en una manera muy facil de recordar. All the other songs are fun and catchy and just plain smart in terms of bilingual education. You need to continue this! I recommend your CD to everyone.

Dear Sol y Canto,

I took my young girls to your concert in Columbia, Maryland last summer. We enjoyed your upbeat rythyms and you sang a couple of songs from your kids' CD. We couldn't stay for the full concert (due to bedtimes!) but on my way out I purchased "El Doble De Amigos" on a whim. It has now become our favorite music and we listen to it daily in our car.

It is so wonderful how you have mixed the two languages in your songs. You have made it easy for non-Spanish speakers to pick up some words too. My daughter (who is already bilingual) proudly declares that she now speaks a third language - Spanish - from the words she has picked up from your CD.
